Golem

G  O  L  E  M  (hbr keeles), * k a b a l a s  

Kabala järgi kombinatsioonide ja loitsude abil moodustatud kunstlik „savist” inimene. Sõna-sõnalt tähendab vormitut või elutut ainekamakat. 17. saj. elanud Elijah Chelmist olevat loonud G-i Jumala nime abil. G. elavat ainult seni, kuni tema looja ekstaasis on. Tuntuim legend on lugu G-st, mille valmistanud 1580.a. paiku Prahas rabi Jehuda  Loew ben Bezalel (J. Loew). Eleazar Wormsist (1160-1230) olevat säilitanud G-i konstrueerimiseks vajaliku salavormeli. Ilukirjanduses on G-t käsitlenud Gustav Meyerinck rom-s”Golem” (1915) ja Tor Age Bringsvaerd „Pinocchio paberites.” (e.k. 1988).
